FOLLOW THE INFORMATION ON THE WARNINGS APPEARING ON THE UPPER BUNK END

STRUCTURE AND ON THE CARTON. DO NOT REMOVE WARNING LABEL FROM BED.

THE MATTRESS PLATFORM IS DESIGNED TO SUPPORT A MATTRESS WITHOUT THE NEED FOR

A POSTURE BOARD OR BOX SPRING.

ALWAYS USE GUARDRAILS ON BOTH LONG SIDES OF THE UPPER BUNK. IF THE BUNK BED

WILL BE PLACED NEXT TO THE WALL, THE GUARDRAIL THAT RUNS THE FULL LENGTH OF

THE BED SHOULD BE PLACED AGAINST THE WALL TO PREVENT ENTRAPMENT BETWEEN

THE BED AND WALL (APPLICABLE FOR BUNK BEDS WITH FULL LENGTH GUARDRAILS ON

ONE SIDE).PERIODICALLY CHECK AND ENSURE THAT THE GUARDRAIL, LADDER AND OTHER

COMPONENTS ARE IN THEIR PROPER POSITION, FREE FROM DAMAGE, AND THAT ALL

CONNECTORS ARE TIGHT.

ALWAYS USE THE RECOMMENDED SIZE MATTRESS OR MATTRESS SUPPORT, OR BOTH, TO

HELP PREVENT THE LIKELIHOOD OF ENTRAPMENT OR FALLS.

USE ONLY COIL SPRING MATTRESSES ON THE UPPER BUNK. FAILURE TO DO SO CAN RESULT

IN INJURY.

USE ONLY A MATTRESS WHICH IS 74"-75" LONG AND 37 1/2" - 38 1/2" WIDE. ENSURE

THICKNESS OF MATTRESS DOES NOT EXCEED 6". SURFACE OF MATTRESS MUST BE AT

LEAST 5" (127MM) BELOW THE UPPER EDGE OF GUARDRAILS.

DO NOT ALLOW CHILDREN UNDER 6 YEARS OF AGE TO USE THE BED.

DO NOT ALLOW HORSEPLAY ON OR UNDER THE BED AND PROHIBIT JUMPING ON THE BED.

Dorel Asia warrants its product to be free from defects in material and workmanship and agrees to

remedy any such defect. This warranty covers 1 year from the date of original purchase. This

warranty is valid only upon presentation of proof of purchase. This is solely limited to the repair or

replacement of defective furniture components and no assembly labor is included. This warranty does

not apply to any product which has been improperly assembled, subjected to misuse or abuse or which

has been altered or repaired in any way. This warranty gives you specific legal rights and you may

also have other rights which vary from State to State.

READ EACH STEP CAREFULLY BEFORE STARTING. IT IS VERY IMPORTANT THAT EACH STEP

OF INSTRUCTION IS PERFORMED IN THE CORRECT ORDER. IF THESE STEPS ARE NOT

FOLLOWED IN SEQUENCE, ASSEMBLY DIFFICULTIES WILL OCCUR AND CAN RESULT IN

INJURY.

Check bolts/screws periodically and tighten them if necessary.

DO NOT use power tools.

CAUTION: Adult assembly required.

Dust regularly with a soft, lint-free cloth to prevent soil build-up. A damp cloth may be used

occasionally to clean surface. Dry immediately. Do not use any abrasives that may damage finish.

Excessive exposure to sunlight and extreme changes in temperature and moisture can damage wood

furniture.

Estimated assembly time: 30 minutes.

Ensure all parts and components are present before beginning assembly.

Assemble on a soft, smooth surface to prevent damage to product finish.

Phillips head screw driver is not included.

Assembly will require two people.

DO NOT list bed from side rails when moving. Raise from headboard and footboard when moving bed.

STEP 1To assemble the ladder, insert wood dowels (4) into the ends of the ladder steps (R).

Attach left ladder end (P) and right ladder end (Q) to ladder steps (R) with wood joint

connectors (5) and Allen key (7).

STEP 2Insert wood dowels (4) into the ends of left headboard top cross (E) and headboard bottom cross (G).

Insert wood dowels (9) into the center holes of left headboard top cross (E) and headboard bottom cross (G).

Attach headboard center panel (H) to bottom cross (G).

Slide headboard panels (I) into the grooves of bottom cross (G) and center panel (H).

Connect left headboard top cross (E) to center panel (H). Make sure that side panels (I) align with the grooves on left headboard

top cross (E).

Attach the assembled unit to front and back left posts (A & B) and secure using wood joint connectors (3) and Allen Key (7).

STEP 3Insert wood dowels (4) into the ends of right headboard top cross (F) and headboard bottom cross (G).

Insert wood dowels (9) into the center holes of right headboard top cross (F) and headboard bottom cross (G).

Attach headboard center panel (H) to bottom cross (G).

Slide headboard panels (I) into the grooves of bottom cross (G) and center panel (H).

Connect right headboard top cross (F) to center panel (H). Make sure that side panels (I) align with the grooves on right

headboard top cross (F).

Attach the assembled unit to front and back right posts (C & D) and secure using wood joint connectors (3) and Allen Key (7).

STEP 4

Insert barrel nuts (6) into the top side rails (J & K).

Attach left top side rail (K) to back posts (B & D) with joint connectors (1).

Attach right top side rail (J) to front posts (A & C) with joint connectors (1).

Fasten all joint connectors with Allen key (7).

Insert wood dowels (4) into each end of the long guardrails (M). Attach long guardrails (M) to the back posts (B &

D) with wood joint conectors (3).

Insert wood dowels (4) into short guardrails (N). Attach short guardrails (N) to front right post ( C) and secure using

joint connectors (3).

Attach the assembled ladder to the top side rail (J) and short guardrails (N) with bolts (2) and wood

dowels (4) as shown.

STEP 6Attach the guardrail legs (O) to the long guardrails (M) and top side rail (K) with flat head screws (8).

Repeat this step for guardrail legs (O) to short guardrails (N) and top side rail (J).

NOTE: Use a Phillips head screwdriver (not included) to install flat head screws (8).

STEP 7Attach a slat (L) onto top side rails (J and K) as close to headboard as possible

with flat head screws (8).

NOTE: Use a Phillips head screwdriver (not included) to install flat head screws (8).

Attach the remaining slats (L) onto top side rails (J and K) with flat head screws (8) using space bloacks

(S) to space them out evenly on both sides.
