Doodling at Work – Main AspectsNotable doodlers
• According to a study, doodling can aid a person's memory by expending just enough energy to keep one from daydreaming, which demands a lot of the brain's processing power, as well as from not paying attention.
• Thus, it acts as a mediator between the spectrum of thinking too much or thinking too little and helps focus on the current situation.
Doodling at Work – Main AspectsBenefits
• Doodling is a strategy to make spontaneous marks to help yourself think.
• When people doodle they retain more information than their non-doodling counterparts.
• We wrongly think doodling is something we do when we lose focus, but in reality, it is a way to stop us from losing focus.
• Additionally, it has a profound effect on creative problem-solving and deep information processing.
