science and using new technology. This class is equipped with:

10 iPad- Field Trips and Classroom use 2 iPod touches- Field Trips 2 digital Cameras- Projects 1 Flip camera- Video taping experiments 3 GPS units- For Plotting Geographic Maps and learning

Coordinates. 5 desktops computers 30 shared laptops 25 Google Netbooks

Improve both students with special needs and the average student. TCAP (Colorado’s Standardized Test) scores have improved over the past 2 years.

When should kids be aloud to use calculators?

Calculators in the classroom has increased over the past 20 years. 20 years ago the standards for math and science were not as large as they are now. Now kids are expected to be in Algebra in 7th grade and Geometry in 8th.
