DM814x IMAGE PROCESSING EVALUATION MODULE GENERAL The DM814x Image Processing Evaluation Module is ready to verify the capabilities of the powerful TMS320DM814x Digital Media Processor. By embedding this Qseven®- based module, a variety of the functionality becomes available to the parent system: Ethernet, USB, SATA, PCIe, SDIO, HD/I2S Audio and HDMI. In addition, a camera sensor may be connected to the dedicated ISIF-connector located on the module. This leads to powerful solutions using the video encoding/decoding units, the graphics accelerator (SGX 530), the built in DSP and the ARM® Cortex™ A8 core in the field of intelligent camera sys- tems, video analytics, network attached DVR, etc. CUSTOMIZED HARDWARE DESIGN Besides of the given Qseven®-Module, custom specific solu- tions based on the DM814x are possible to meet application requirements, thereby making use of our expertise. DM814x IMAGE PROCESSINGEVALUATION MODULEGENERAL

The DM814x Image Processing Evaluation Module is ready to

verify the capabilities of the powerful TMS320DM814x Digital

Media Processor. By embedding this Qseven®- based module,

a variety of the functionality becomes available to the parent

system: Ethernet, USB, SATA, PCIe, SDIO, HD/I2S Audio and

HDMI. In addition, a camera sensor may be connected to the

dedicated ISIF-connector located on the module. This leads to

powerful solutions using the video encoding/decoding units,

the graphics accelerator (SGX 530), the built in DSP and the

ARM® Cortex™ A8 core in the fi eld of intelligent camera sys-

tems, video analytics, network attached DVR, etc.

CUSTOMIZED HARDWARE DESIGN

Besides of the given Qseven®-Module, custom specifi c solu-

tions based on the DM814x are possible to meet application

requirements, thereby making use of our expertise.

CUSTOMIZED SOFTWARE DESIGN FOR VIDEO- AND SECURITY APPLICATIONS

We have experience in video surveillance ranging from Codec to embedded analytics (activity detection, trajectories of moving objects, static objects,..), where we off er HW/SW algorithm co-design based on embedded processors from TI. Therefore, the DM814x may be a solution for
