ROUND 1 DIXIE DANGER FEST PAGEANT

CONTESTANT 1 Delia Debonair

Our first contestant, Miss Delia Debonair, often spends her time behind the lens as she delights in doing photos for families, cos-players and Huntsville's finest local-life. However, do not be fooled, she is no delicate lady! Delia loves to "tear it up" hiking, skating, and swimming throughout the season. She's got a fire in her heart when it comes to volunteering in the community and making a difference. Delia Debonair is a proud Huntsvillian and find's her city's local craft beer and vivacious culture to be absolutely effervescent!

CONTESTANT 2 Noir Von Jet

Our next contestant is a portrait photographer, wife, and mother of three. She loves the arts and letting her creative side run free. Give it up for Contestant 2 Miss Noir Von Jet!

CONTESTANT 3 Dottie Gams

Contestant 3 is a hot rod enthusiast and Chevy truck builder. When she’s not cruising around town in her old 1948 pickup, she enjoys spending time with friends in the sunshine while drinking a few cold ones. Dottie is originally from the “Show Me” state but raised right here in Bama! She’s been top 10 pageant contestant in the Nashville Boogie for the last 2 years and voted most photogenic at last year’s Dixie Danger Fest. She is Miss Dottie Gams!

CONTESTANT 4 Raven Rockette

Brand new to the pinup pageant world, but not to pinup, is Contestant 4 Miss Raven Rockette! Raven is a professional makeup artist and mother to 5-year-old twins. She enjoys singing and cooking when she’s not out there making the world beautiful! Please give a round of applause for Miss Raven Rockette!!


CONTESTANT 5 Maggie Mae

Our next contestant is a 25 year old mother of two. She belongs to an elite group of superheroes known as preschool teachers. She’s a nerd- not in the way of putting on fake glasses and taking sexy pictures (though such pictures do exist) but in the way of having a level seven dual welding half-elf ranger in an active D&D campaign. She loves the Huntsville music scene and prides herself on being Jonny and the Black Frames number one fan! This is her second year competing in the Dixie Danger Pageant and she hopes to win you over with wits and sass rather than her rhyming physical parts (insert wink). She is Contestant 5 Miss Maggie Mae!

CONTESTANT 6 Cherry Cordial

Describing herself as a "shy exhibitionist", Contestant 6 is both shaken and stirred to be here fulfilling her pin-up girl dreams. Cherry Cordial acquired her many tattoos, and a taste for Tiki rum drinks, while shipwrecked in the South Pacific. She adores Retro style and fashion, and enjoys collecting vintage swizzle sticks. Although she’s a grandmother, she's still as tart as a wedge of lime, and sweet as a pink sugared rim. Cherry's personal motto is: "it's not a drink if it doesn't have an umbrella in it.”

CONTESTANT 7 Nora Neptune

This starry-eyed lass is over the moon at the opportunity to participate in this year's Dixie Danger Fest Pageant! Contestant 7 is a literal out-of-this-world traveler who enjoys casual experimentation with astrophysics and psychedelics. Give it up for this cosmic contestant ya'll, Miss Nora Neptune!

CONTESTANT 8 Ruby Rae

This is Contestant 8’s first appearance in the pin-up pageant circuit but hopefully far from her last. She has a spunky fun personality that changes as often as the color of her hair. She is a cook of scrumptious pizza by day and a hot rocking wrestler by night. This is the ravishing, the rare, Ms. Ruby Rae


CONTESTANT 9 Butane Bettie

Born in the Rubber City, Contestant 9 is a nurse here in Huntsville. In her spare time she collects curiosities and restores antique furniture. Don't let her innocent demeanor fool you, this Bashful Beauty will set you on Fire! Please give a round of applause for Ms. Butane Bettie.

CONTESTANT 10 Darlin’ Cherrybomber (NOTE: BIO IS FROM CHAD, CONTESTANT DID NOT PROVIDE BIO)

This Audrey Hepburn fanatic is the great granddaughter of legendary Wild West gunslinger Calamity Jane and in her spare time she enjoys yodeling, traveling to sites of famous historical crimes, and taming wild jungle cats. Give it up for Contestant Number 10, Miss Darlin’ Cherrybomber!


CONTESTANT 11 Ms Gore Jes

Contestant 11 is a 27 year old mechanic from Anniston Al. Miss Gore Jes loves gangster rap, vampire novels, and being in the sun. When she’s not rolling around on her creeper, she’s straddling her cruiser, with her nine year old daughter clutching her waist. Her garage is exactly where you'd wanna park your car for servicing. She’ll have your engine revving and your codes cleared in no time and Give it up for Contestant 11 Miss Gore Jes!

CONTESTANT 12 Vivienne Devour

Contestant 12 is a very young at heart 43 year old with a son who is defending this great country of ours. She previously performed her burlesque bits with Model City Cabaret out of Anniston, AL as well as being a featured artist at 50 Shades of Art Gallery in Birmingham, AL. She has been featured in Rockabilly Magazine as pinup of the week along with other awards for her pinup style. She comes from a family of gear heads where she developed her love of hotrods, motorcycles and the pinup style. She is Miss Vivienne DeVour!


CONTESTANT 13 Shadey White

Contestant 13 is an active cosplayer in Huntsville who decided to give something new a try. When Shadey White isn't looking fierce in front of a camera she is behind a sewing machine or gaming with friends. Give it up for Contestant 13 Miss Shadey White!

CONTESTANT 14 Penny Nylon

Contestant 14 is a work from home seamstress, freelance bartender, and mother from central Alabama. She and her new husband now call the beautiful Rocket City their home. Though Penny Nylon still uses her Grandmother’s sewing desk, she hopes to turn her small time seamstress title into a full-fledged clothing designer in the near future. When she is not busy designing and sewing, she can be found antique shopping or taking a road trip with the windows down and the music up. Penny Nylon worships at the altar of coffee, adores animals (especially cats), loves cooking, and watches an obscene amount of cartoons for an adult.

CONTESTANT 15 Coffee Cakes

Our final contestant of round one is 22 and into all things retro, hence why she loves working at Retro-Fitt Boutique! When she’s not studying for college, she’s playing Fallout or DnD. She is the lovely Contestant 15, Miss Coffee Cakes!

CONTESTANT 16 Vicky Vinyl

Contestant 16 was born and raised right here in Huntsville and this is her first time competing in a pinup pageant. Miss Vicky Vinyl is an avid vinyl record collector. She enjoys the sound and smell of vinyl records. When she's not chasing her toddler around, she can be found at Men's Wearhouse using her extensive 13 year experience base in men’s fashion. How about a round of applause for Miss Vicky Vinyl?!


CONTESTANT 17 Velvet DeLight

Contestant 17 bakes up something delightful every day in her kitchen. Sometimes, she has to take off her apron because it's just so hot. When her man is hungry, Velvet DeLight has got something cooking and rest assured, she sprinkles everything with sugar and love. Velvet was raised by a burlesque dancer, Big Lily Lee, grew up in vaudeville and is now trying to be a "normal" '50s homemaker while continuing her love of singing and dancing. She is Miss Velvet DeLight!

CONTESTANT 18 Idris Diagon

This naughty nerdette may come in a small package, but is truly a barrel full of fun! Hailing from Orlando, FL, she can often be found in high places nibbling on mangos or playing games. Contestant 18 taught Toph Bei Fong the ancient art of melon-bending, and her patronus is a flying squirrel. She is the delightful Idris Diagon!

CONTESTANT 19 Dixie DeVille

This Rock n Roll Queen has a special love for Rockabilly music and fashion. Born in Toulouse, France and raised in the United States by her grandmother, Rosie the Riveter, she has a degree in music education and is a current member of the Huntsville Master Chorale and a rockin' little band called Rockshop. Oh yes, this gal can sing. Contestant 19 aspires to be the next designer in vintage clothing as she can certainly make a sewing machine, among other things, shake, rattle, and roll. Give it up for Miss Dixie DeVille!

CONTESTANT 20 Aurora Nyx

This curvy pin-up is a newcomer on the pageant scene. Contestant 20 is a vet technician at both a regular and emergency vet office. When she’s not knee deep in animal hair she’s at UNA pursuing a degree in environmental biology. She’s a bookworm with a firecracker personality, say hello to Miss Aurora Nyx!



CONTESTANT 21 Roxie Roulette

Born into circus life in the small town of Jupiter, Florida to a beautiful trapeze artist mother, Contestant 21 traveled the country as a child selling candy and nick-knacks to circus crowds. It was on one of these travels that she made her way to glitzy Las Vegas and met her best friend, Lady Luck. Taking a job as a casino roulette girl only made sense as the roulette wheel is just as wild and unpredictable as she is. Making her first appearance in the pageant, this fun loving gal about town loves a good adventure. Roxie Roulette can be found taking in a punk rock show, tempting fate, or curled up with a good book. If she were ever to leave the glitz and glamor of Sin City, Miss Roxie's dream job is to be the girl that gets to name finger polish colors or perhaps even a zebra wrangler. Ladies and gentleman please place your bet on Miss Roxie Roulette!

CONTESTANT 22 Candy Lovingood

Contestant 22 was born and raised in the Carolina plains, and worked in the parts industry. When not surrounded by parts, she spends her time at the race track working, tinkering, and even racing motorcycles. She describes herself as a small town girl looking for a good time and truly has a passion for anything with a motor. She is Miss Candy Lovingood!

CONTESTANT 23 Lucy VaRoom

Don't mistake Contestant 23’s Audrey Hepburn qualities for sweet and innocent. Although this motorcycle vixen is new to the pageant world, she will still burn rubber on your heart. When not on her Buell, she is a dog trainer and loves to skydive. Her favorite dance is the Tango Roxanne and loves Beagles and Doxies. She'll ride away with your dog and your Harley if you're not careful. Look out for Lucy VaRoom!


CONTESTANT 24 Black Betty

Contestant 24 hails from Jacksonville, AL and is a stay at home Mom with two beautiful children, a 3 year old girl and a 2 year old boy. She regularly enjoys spending time with family and friends. Most of her weekends are spent at car shows or at the shop working on cars. Give it up for the bam-a-lam herself, Miss Black Betty!

CONTESTANT 25 Julianne Bell

Our next contestant has lived in Huntsville since 2003. Contestant 25 has worked in childcare for almost 3 years all the while dancing on and off since she was 9. Currently her favorite dance is the lindy hop swing dance, and yes fellas, she does lessons! A southern bell from where the stars fell, give it up for Miss Julianne Bell!

CONTESTANT 26 Roxie Rockette

Originally from Florida, Contestant 26 has called Huntsville home for over 20 years. She describes herself as ambitious, focused, and determined and as such she is back for the pageant’s 2nd year. Miss Rockette is a makeup enthusiast and connoisseur and first became interested in pin up 5 years ago when she realized that she could wing her eyeliner with the greatest of ease. Her hobbies include listening to music, traveling, painting, and binge watching Netflix. And when she isn’t working to help a band of six tiny toddlers learn their ABC’s and 123’s, she does go to the occasional local show. She is Miss Roxie Rockette!

CONTESTANT 27 Lizzy Love

Born and raised in SWEET HOME ALABAMA..... Right here in Huntsville is Contestant 27. Her inspirations are Betty Boop, Marilyn Monroe and she always enjoying being in front of the camera. She even adds her own twist while mixing up a special cocktail and being your favorite bartender!!! Lizzy is a career drivin woman, proud mother of 3, loyal friend to many and loved by all, hence the name Miss Lizzy Love!


CONTESTANT 28 Kat KaBoom

Contestant 28 was abandoned deep in the dark woods of Germany, and raised by wild forest animals and free roaming cartoon characters. Trying to adapt to the human ways and still loving the outdoors, she acquired a forestry degree while working as a lumberjack. Apart from rescuing animals and saving the world, she enjoys fishing and strawberries. Watch out for the beautiful bombshell Ms. Kat KaBoom!

CONTESTANT 29 Carmen De La Cruz

This saucy Latina bombshell was born and raised right here in Huntsville. Hijinks-fueled weekends, creating costume replicas, road trips, and outdoor shenanigans are what keeps this feisty kitten happy. Contestant 29 currently spends her days helping people reach their fitness goals and live healthier lifestyles. She dreams of one day becoming a motorcycle mechanic and helping to rebuild the homes of families effected by natural disasters. Miss Carmen De La Cruz may have bad girl looks, but her heart is pure gold.

CONTESTANT 30 Evey Vendetta

As a Huntsville native this savvy social butterfly has attended Dixie Danger since it started and is finally a participant! You can find Contestant 30 slinging drinks, food, and getting down to 80s music as a sultry server while also holding epic pin-baller and Dig Dug champion statuses at a local, retro barcade downtown. A silver screen siren and avid gamer, Evey is full of pop culture knowledge. Drop dead gorgeous with years of emergency medical training, Miss Evey Vendetta will stop, start, and win your hearts.

CONTESTANT 10 Peggy Holly

Our next pin up is from the former Soviet Union. Contestant Number 9 was born in a picturesque mountain region and raised by two loving and supportive timber wolves. She moved to the U.S. after fleeing accusations of witchcraft following the mysterious spontaneous combustion of the village priest. She enjoys long walks on the beach, watching the blood moon rise, and spending her evenings trapping demons for fun and profit. She is lovely Miss Peggy Holly!
