DONUT SOCIAL TODAY Take a few minutes after Mass today to mingle with your fellow parishioners and enjoy yummy donuts in Marble Hall sponsored by Parish organizations, ministries and committees. All are welcome. EASTER BREAD DELIVERY THANK YOU! Members of the St. Anthony Guild extend a gracious thank you to all who participated in the Easter Bread delivery to our homebound and nursing home parishioners. Your kindness and the gift of your time helped to create a meaningful experience during this Lenten season. This is a very special visit with those people who can no longer be with us in church but remain faithful members of the parish. We thank Paul and Cheryl Randolph in a special way for the donation of the bread in memory of Dorothy Margaret Randolph and Leo Stoltz. ST. ANTHONY NOVENA This annual devotion continues each Tuesday evening at 7:00 PM through the Feast of St. Anthony of Padua in June. All are welcome to honor St. Anthony and ask his intercession for our needs.

IN SYMPATHY We commend to your prayers those who died recently:

John McFall, Phyllis Patz, Viola Pugliese, Joseph Zana,

Leonard Acquaviva, father of Leona Ricchuito,

and Barbara Morgante, sister of Terry Gatto.

May God welcome them to the joys of Paradise and bring comfort and peace to their families.

P N BAPTISM This weekend, we welcome

August Joseph & Rocco James Farione, Sofia Rose Lieb

and Lia Mae Noce

into the Church through the saving waters of Baptism. We rejoice with their parents and with all who celebrate their newborn life in the family of God.

BEREAVEMENT PROGRAM The parish bereavement group continues to meet on Wednesday evenings through June 13, at 6:30 PM in Marble Hall. For information, contact Pat Policastro in the Parish Office at 724-335-9877, Ext. 210. LEGACY SOCIETY What is Success? by Ralph Waldo Emerson

To laugh often and much; To win the respect of intelligent people and the affection of children; To earn the appreciation of honest critics and endure the betrayal of false friends; To appreciate beauty; To find the best in others; To leave the world a bit better, whether by a healthy child, a garden patch or a redeemed social condition; To know even one life has breathed easier because you have lived; This is to have succeeded.

Success can be measured in many ways. One endearing way is indeed to leave the world a bit better than when we first arrived. By passing on our Catholic faith and its values and by maintaining the benevolent works of our parish community in the future, we will have succeeded. Please support the Mount Saint Peter Parish Endowment Fund in your will or estate planning. Let’s keep a good thing going.

DIOCESAN LENTEN APPEAL Thanks to your generosity, we have surpassed our diocesan goal! This is great news because it means that any gift from this point on is returned to the parish 100%. If you have not yet made your gift, now is the best time to do so. Your continued generosity will help with the renovations of the convent. FOOD DONATIONS NEEDED Our food pantry is dwindling. You can help your neighbors in need by donating peanut butter, crackers, cereal, pasta, sauce, mac & cheese, soup, rice and noodle side dishes and cans of chicken or chili. Bring them to the Parish Office or the Chapel of the Seven Sacraments. Many thanks!
