Design is the driving force behind who I really am. Being a designer, shapes and colors make me who I am today. Design is full of struggle and suffering, but at the same time it’s also filled with success and joy. The big pay off for me is when I get to see smiles on people’s faces induced by my work. Designers are challenged to respond on visual problems. We battle for that perfect solution or answer all the way up to the very last second. This battle is important. I think that great design should strike someone right at the core. Great design should evoke all the senses of the body.In that perception, there is not much difference between design and art. We are all striving to become inspiration and resolution for people.

Distinct design. Distinct in this sense means striking, prominent, and visible. It is the most underlying element of me and my work. To judge if my design is working, I try to see if the design has a personality of its own. Throughoutthis portfolio you will see a few of the personalities that Ihave developed over the past few years.

My goal is to help distinct, forward-looking brands build meaningful connections with people. I design because of the joy it can bring to people. To me, design is the the one common thread running through everything in this world.

VisibleIt All Starts With A Pencil

It’s not the most common approach to design in design agencies. There are even people out there who think the computer has the same rendering abilities as a good old pencil and paper. Sorry to say, but if this is your approach to design, then you are failing from the get-go. I have a strong passion for sketching, doodling, drawing, and also building anything hand-crafted. At the same time, I know how to utilize the power of my computer.

Taking the time to just doodle is a big part of my day. I feel it really allows all of the creative elements to get a jump start.
