CONDITIONS OF SALEThe conduct of the sale will be

under the usual conditions of sale, which may be inspected at the Seller’s Agent’s offices: That is to say no warranty or guarantee upon the description or condition of any item is given or implied, other than a guarantee as to title, which will pass to the purchaser.

PAYMENT & VATPayment to be made within 7 days of accepted tender. No item may be removed from the premises until payment for it has been made in full. VAT will be added to the sale price at the standard rate. Payment can be made by cheque or bank transfer. Please contact the Seller’s Agents for further details.

BUYER’S PREMIUMNo buyers premium is applied to the sale of goods.

REFRESHMENTSDue to COVID19 we will not be offering any other refreshments on site.

ENGINE HOURSNeither the Sellers nor the Seller’s Agent make any warranty regarding engine hours or vehicles mileages.

INSPECTION OF EQUIPMENTNo powered machinery or equipment may be started without the prior approval of a Lovatt & Nott representative.

CATALOGUE ENTRIES Whilst every attempt is made to ensure that the descriptions are accurate, no guarantees are either given or implied. Buyers should be aware that from time to time, lots are withdrawn and other lots added. Please contact the Sellers Agent prior to the viewing day to ensure that the machinery is on site.

COLLECTIONAll purchases must be collected from the premises by prior arrangement with the Seller’s Agents. It is requested that all purchases are removed as soon as possible, after payment. Items become the responsibility of the purchaser upon receipt of cleared funds. Access to the farmyard is good for articulated lorries. Local Hauliers available, details can be obtained from Seller’s Agents.

LOADING OF GOODSLoading will be available by prior appointment only. The Merlo Telehandler will be retained on site by the Seller for 4 weeks after the sale to facilitate loading.

HEALTH & SAFETY1. COVID 19 Measures - The viewing day will be conducted with COVID 19 social distancing measures in place. Please respect the rules put in place for your safety and the safety of others. Only prospective purchasers should attend viewing days, onlookers and general public should not attend. It is preferable that children do not attend. Any person that is knowingly ill, showing symptoms of the virus, or has an underlying health issue should not attend viewing days.

2. Only park in designated parking areas.

3. No dogs.

4. All children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a responsible adult.

5. Please be aware that the site may be uneven and slippery so take care and wear appropriate footwear.

6. Care must be taken when inspecting items for sale. Items may move.

7. Do not enter areas that are fenced or taped off.

8. Purchasers and their agents are under a duty of care when removing items from the sale venue and should use appropriate protective equipment or clothing. All transport and lifting equipment must conform to current Health and Safety Executive and Road Traffic Act Requirements. In the case of an emergency all visitors should assemble in the car parking area
