    Gauge

    pattern without dropped stitches:

    *1x k, 1x p* repeat

    5 cm = 21 stsrib

    Pattern on chest:

    Change form *1x k, 2x p* to

garter stitch (one row k, one

    row p in round)

    10 cm = 24 sts

    pattern with dropped sts:

    *1x p, 1x k, 1x p, 1x dropped sts

    10cm = 18 sts

The basis for the cast on is the gauge for garter stitch and the

    measurement of the Chest.

    Here is an example calculation:

For a Chest with 103cm you need this cast on:

    2,4(sts pro cm) x 103cm Chest = 247,2

The result is then rounded up to the next divisible by 3.

Here you have to cast on 249 sts.

Take your measurements and calculate based on your gauge your

    cast on.

    Pattern for the cast-on-sts (3sts):

    right row: 1x k, 1x p, 1 yo, 1x p

    wrong row: 1x k, 1 yo, 1x k, 1x p

Pattern for the wrong row (for the Diagonal) rib:

take off the first st and draw a double mesh (like you know from short-

row-knitting). und den Rest wie sie erscheinen, d.h. am Ende hat man ein

    Bndchenmuster aus 1x k, 1x p im Wechsel..

    diagonal :

Closed the cast on to the round. The diagonal is worked flat in rows.

    You start with S=4, M=5, L= 6 pattern for the cast-on-sts.

Turn, take off the first st and draw a double mesh (like you know from

short-row-knitting) and knit rib. Knit it in each row a pattern set more of

    the cast on..

Do as long until only> 9 sts are left. Knit the all in a right row and go on

    knitting in round.

    Cast ON: 249

The pattern make with 3 sts + yo = 4 sts

    You get an new total number of sts: 249/ 3 x 4 = 332

    rib with dropped stitches:

The measurement from the waist to below the arm is needed for the

    further knitting division:

    example: 30cm

    knitting-part for: 30cm / 3 = 10 cm pro part

The rhythm of the dropped stitches goes over 16 sts (Sample Code

see above) . Not always the selected mesh number is also divisible

by 16. (with me not) This can then be laminated at the start and end

of the diagonal. Please put it fixed before you the start dropping.

Pay attention that the mesh is always dropped when in the initial series a

YO was made and there is a small hole. The two meshes next to the dropstitch are purl.

First part dropped sts: after 10 cm

    Second part dropped sts:

    after 20 cm

    Third part dropped sts:

    after 30 cm

    Garter sts with dropped sts:

    Decide on a variant:

Do you like to carry the diagonal

    on side or back .

    This shirt gets a side

    diagonal.

    Rows 7-13 repeat for S=7x, M=8x, L=9x

Here in the 7th row distributed 28x two stitches tog k.

The remaining sts elastic bind off and weave in ends.

All the numbers marked in redare to replace with your own information.

    Good Luck
