July 11th Ocean Splash @ Outdoor Recreation Center Come join us for some of the fastest growing and most popular sports in Hawaii today. Learn the basics of how to operate both one and two person canoes, kayaks, stand-up paddle boards, and paddling sports. We will provide the transportation (up to 12 people), equipment, and instruction. All you need to bring is water, snacks, and sunscreen. July 11th Parent Night’s Out @ AMR CDC Child, Youth & School Services (CYSS) continues to offer a Parent’s Night Out to families in our military community. Reservations will be accepted on a first come, first serve basis at the Parent Central Services Office (PSC). Children ages 6 weeks through 5th grade are welcome. To enroll in Parent’s Night Out, children must be registered with CYSS no later than Wednesday at noon prior to the event. A snack will be served. HOURS: 6 PM - 11 PM .To register, please visit one of the CYSS Parent Central Service Offices. Military members E-5 and below - $20 for one child, E-6 and above - $25 for one child. $5 each additional child. Children should have their dinner prior to arriving. *FEES ARE NON-REFUNDABLE*

July 18th Army Hawaii Ten Miler Qualifi er The Ten-Mile Race around Schofi eld Barracks starts promptly at 0600 on Saturday, July 18, 2015. Runners will meet at Richardson Pool on Schofi eld Barracks. This race is the qualifying event for active duty Soldiers that will be selected to represent team Hawaii in the Army Ten Miler, October 11, 2015 in Washington D.C. Only the fastest will be considered to represent Army Hawaii based on time standards. Pre Registration is $30 (Up to 2 JULY 2015), Late Registration $40 (3-13 JULY 2015). Registration and payments will be accepted at the Health and Fitness Center (HFC) - 655-8007, on Schofi eld Barracks and Ft. Shafter Physical Fitness Center (FS PFC) - 438-1152. Packets may be picked up at the Sports, Fitness, and Aquatics Offi ce on July 15 and 16 from 8 AM - 3 PM. Should you miss one of these opportunities; packets can be picked up on race day from 5 - 5:45 AM at the race site.

Big Brother Big Sister Military Mentoring Program Registration @ CYS SERVICES School Liaison Office Youth ages 9 - 17 of active duty military personnel are encouraged to participate in the Big Brother Big Sister Military Mentoring Program (BBBSMMP). Military youth can be matched with a military or civilian adult that can serve as a mentor for them to assist in their personal development emotionally, mentally, and physically. The Discovery Center offers 4 major galleries filled with hands-on and interactive exhibits that will allow children to explore and discover things about themselves and the world through play. Will be provided daily for all camp participants. Bringing money is optional on field trips for
snacks and shopping. Open to all registered CYS Services Teens
