TABLE OF CONTENTS

“My presence will go with you, and I will give you rest.” —EXODUS 33:14, ESV

Four decades ago, Billy and Ruth

Graham hiked up a pristine Blue Ridge

mountainside on the east side of

Asheville, N.C. Stopping by a shallow

creek to pray, they asked God to use

the surrounding beauty for His glory—

to make it a sanctuary for spiritual

refreshment and transformation.

At The Cove’s dedication service nearly

10 years later, the Grahams each

expressed their vision for the scenic

haven with four words. Ruth prayed

that The Cove would be a place for

retreat, rest, relaxation, and renewal—

a refuge where people could meet

with the Lord Jesus Christ, personally

and privately, and never be the same

again. Billy committed it to impact,

intercession, instruction, and inspiration—

relying on God’s Word to equip His

people for discipleship and sharing His

love with others. Today, their prayers

continue to be answered for tens

of thousands of guests each year.

SEE GOD IN THE BEAUTY.

“Whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if there

is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things.”

—PHILIPPIANS 4:8, ESV

Do you need to renew your

relationship with God? This is

the ideal place to do it. One

thing you’ll notice about

The Cove is that everything on-

site is intentional: our inviting mountain

inns, attentive hospitality, delicious

gourmet buffets, winding walking trails,

and so much more. It’s all thoughtfully

designed to free you from the stress and

distractions of daily life and help you

focus on God’s Word and hear Him speak.

As breathtaking as The Cove’s physical

surroundings are, the real beauty of this

place is what Jesus Christ does in each

open heart. The Bible says, “He satisfies

the longing soul, and fills the hungry

soul with goodness” (Psalm 107:9, NKJV).

If you give God your time here and

focus on building your relationship with

Him, He will fill you up, refresh your

spirit, and begin meeting those needs

and desires that often seem so elusive.

Come experience a real, authentic, and

life-changing encounter with Christ.

WILL GRAHAM Executive Director

“The instruction of the Lord is perfect, renewing one’s life; the testimony of the

Lord is trustworthy, making the

inexperienced wise.” —PSALM 19:7, HCSB

HEAR HIM IN HIS WORD.

“It is God who is working in you, enabling you both to desire and to work out His

good purpose.” —PHILIPPIANS 2:13, HCSB

From the time The Cove was

merely a vision shared by my

mother and father, this 1,200-

acre property has been

surrounded in prayer. We

praise God that He is answering these

prayers as gifted leaders, seminary

professors, and authors continue to

guide people from all walks of life in

applying God’s Word.

Whether you come for a seminar with

a leading Bible teacher or a Personal

Spiritual Retreat, you can immerse yourself

in Scripture and the presence of the Holy

Spirit and be filled with His fruit: “love,

joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness,

faithfulness, gentleness, [and] self-control”

(Galatians 5:22–23, ESV). It is a blessing

to hear from men and women of all ages

who have been strengthened, encouraged,

or equipped by the Lord during their time

here—which often comes in the midst of a

crisis or at an important crossroads

of decision. If you need guidance, rest,

or rejuvenation, God has provided this

place for you.

FRANKLIN GRAHAM President Billy Graham Evangelistic Association

DISCOVER THE PERSONAL POWER OF GOD’S PRESENCE.

“I came a long way, from Washington state. This

is a watershed moment for me. I came out of

a background of a lot of tragedy and trying to

refocus my life. … I have been able to get my

feet on the ground and get a new direction and

a new focus. I have learned a lot here. I have

taken copious notes, and I am going to go back

and digest that stuff. Praise God for the hope,

and the blessing, and the grace that He gives us.”

“I am so grateful for the Christian hospitality

received at The Cove. The kind welcome

and warm smiles made me feel at home. You

can feel the prayers of God’s people upon

this holy ground. You know God’s presence

abides in this place.”

“Thank you for such a beautiful visit to The Cove.

My husband and I have enjoyed ourselves so

much. Every part of our experience has been

over the top. Lodging, dining, the facilities—

exceeded my expectations. The speaker was

fantastic. I hope to visit again soon. I’m planning

on telling our friends about our experiences

and encouraging them to come be a part of this

great place.”

“Our marriage was in crisis, which had been

building over a dozen military deployments.

Never had we done anything like this or

gotten help for our marriage. The veterans

center in Columbus, Ohio, told us about

The Cove. We thought, we don’t know if we

are still going to be ‘us’ by the time we can

make it to a seminar there. Your seminar

literally saved our marriage. I just want you

all to know the power of this place.”

EXPERIENCE THE COVE.
