ヨルダンの正式名称はヨルダン・ハシミテ王国。中東の立憲君主制の国家です。世界遺産のペトラ遺跡や死海、ワディラム砂漠、ジェラシュ遺跡など古代の神秘が感じられる観光名所の宝庫です。映画『インディー・ジョーンズ』や最近大ヒットの『アラジン』の撮影場所がヨルダンだということは意外に知られていないかもしれませんね。当日はヨルダン大使館がヨルダンの歴史や文化を紹介してくれます。また、アラビア語のヨルダン方言のミニレッスンとヨルダンに関するミニクイズをご用意しました。クイズの正解者には、死海の塩を使った超高級化粧品がもらえるチャンスも！さらにカフェタイムでは伝統の衣装の試着やアラビアコーヒーに美味しいヨルダンのアペタイザーも楽しめます！

The Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan is a parliamentary monarchy of the Middle East. Jordan‘s sightseeing spots include the World Heritage Site of Petra, the Dead Sea, Wadi Rum Desert and Jerash. Also the famous Hollywood movies “Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade” and “Aladdin” were actually filmed in Jordan too! There will be presentations from the embassy introducing the history and culture of Jordan. The Jordanian dialect of Arabic and a small quiz about Jordan in which participants can win rare and luxurious Dead Sea cosmetics! During the café time you can try on traditional clothing, taste Arabic coffee and enjoy some delicious Jordanian appetizers too!
