Staff at LBIC are always happy to help with any difficulties or queries you may have, no matter how big or small.
Full orientation programme LBIC offers a full orientation and enrolment programme to new students, ensuring you are fully prepared for your new life in London. Some of the things that may seem easy at home can prove a little different in the UK, so LBIC’s orientation programme will assist with getting you settled in and will enable you to begin your studies in comfort. Assistance with opening a bank account, getting a mobile phone and advice on where to get specific foods will be offered, as well as a whole range of other information that will help you adjust quickly to life in the UK. In addition, the enrolment programme will give you the opportunity to meet your new classmates and discover more about the social activities available.
Academic assistanceLBIC’s main purpose is for you to have an excellent beginning to your university studies, and the dedicated team of academic and student support staff will ensure that you have all the tools at your disposal to enable you to achieve your full potential. The LBIC student services team is there to assist you and provide personalised academic support, including a full Student in Jeopardy programme, to help you get back on track with your studies.
Supportive learning environmentAs an LBIC student you will enjoy smaller class sizes and one-to-one tutorial sessions. This will allow you to successfully bridge the gap between your previous studies and Brunel, providing you with the skills, knowledge and expertise that will enable you to excel at your university studies and ultimately graduate with an internationally recognised Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from Brunel University.
24/7 contactLBIC is located on Brunel University London’s campus, a secure and safe student environment. An experienced student services team is available throughout the day at LBIC for any help or advice you may need. Out of office hours, 24 hours a day, it is possible to call a dedicated LBIC emergency phone in case of any urgent issues.
Social activities at LBIC Although you will be at LBIC primarily for the purposes of academic study, it is still possible to involve yourself in an extensive and varied social life. LBIC runs a range of extra-curricular activities, including sports teams, shopping trips and sightseeing tours around the UK and, with everything that the University and London have to offer, you will certainly find something of interest for when you are not studying.
Student Representative GroupStudents at LBIC play an important role in the direction of the College and the Student Representative Group enables you, the student, to represent your peers. Regular meetings between staff and student representatives are held and provide the opportunity for the student voice to be heard, contributing to the future of your experience.
Study accredited modulesLBIC’s courses and modules are designed in partnership with the University’s academic staff, meaning that from day one you will be gaining knowledge and skills that will give you a distinct advantage when you have completed your studies at LBIC and progressed on to Brunel University London.

English language preparationTo gain entry into an undergraduate or postgraduate pathway, you must be able to demonstrate a suitable level of English proficiency. You can do this by obtaining one of the results shown in the table below and listed on our website. Visit lbic.navitas.com/english-requirements for details.
If you do not meet the English requirements for your chosen course, it may be possible to study pre-sessional English at Brunel University London. Upon successful completion of your pre-sessional English course you will then join your chosen academic programme at LBIC.
Brunel University London’s pre-sessional English courses vary in length from 6 weeks to 48 weeks, depending on your individual requirements. The minimum requirement for entry is UKVI IELTS 4.0.

My experience at LBIC was very good. I gained a lot of help and support from all of the tutors and staff. They provided support to everyone, especially students like me, who is from a different culture and background. They supported us academically as well.

The journey to enrolment
1. Submit an application at lbic.navitas.com/apply
2. Receive a conditional or unconditional offer letter.
3. If conditional, submit outstanding documents or evidence required.
4. Accept the offer by completing and returning the acceptance form.
5. Pay your tuition fee deposit stated on your offer letter.
6. Receive your provisional CAS and confirm all the details are correct.
7. Provide financial evidence in line with Tier 4 visa requirements. (For international students only)
8. Receive your final CAS.
9. Apply for your Tier 4 visa at a UK visa application centre (For international students only)
10. Receive outcome of your visa and notify LBIC (For international students only)
11. Book you accommodation at Brunel University London, through Brunel University London’s Accommodation Centre Hub.
12. Book your flight to UK.
13. Enrol at LBIC.
