INTRO U TION

India has a very large and technologically advanced plastics industry

spread allover the country producing a complete range of plastics

products including

-

films, sheets, tubings, pipes, corrugated pipes,

moulded items, woven as well as integrally extruded nets, crates and

boxes, which cater to the diversified needs of the agriculture,

horticulture, water management and related areas.

In order to make available information on the plasticulture system

manufacturers in the country, this Directory has been compiled, which

lists the drip/sprinkler system manufacturers, green house film

manufacturers, heavy duty plastics film manufacturers for lining as well

as CAP cover applications , mulch film manufacturers, net

manufacturers, greenhouse fabricators etc.

The Directory is expected to be used as reference by the government

implimenting agencies, farmers, as well as ot-her stake holders involved

in the agriculture, horticulture and irrigation areas.
