WELCOME TO ST. JULIE’SSt. Julie Billiart Catholic Church is a parish that serves Newbury Park and surrounding communities in the Archdiocese of Los Angeles. We are located in the heart of the Conejo Valley in the beautiful community of Newbury Park, CA.We are a loving community of more than 1,800 families who gather together each week to worship together in prayer and thanksgiving.
Our mission is to enrich a faith community that grows spiritually through worship, lifelong education, fellowship and service.
We currently have over 20 active ministries, including outreach ministries to Los Angeles, Mexico and Africa as well as serving the local community with the Meal and Winter Shelter Program, the Society of St.Vincent De Paul, the Knights of Columbus and Helping Hands.
We have Religious Education programs for all ages 3 to adult ranging from Pray and Play to Adult Bible Study as well as fun-for-all social ministries including the OWLS and 80+ groups.
Whether you are just here for a visit, looking for a new parish home, are returning to the Catholic Faith or are interested in finding out more about the Catholic Church, we are happy to have you here and welcome you!

My Dear Parishioners:
Again, we celebrate the great Feast of “God with us”, remembering that moment in human history when God came to make his dwelling place among us for a while! This year’s celebration is especially poignant for us here at Saint Julie’s as we look forward to the celebration of our Golden Jubilee! It’s a time to look back with gratitude and savor the rich history of our little parish and to appreciate all that has been accomplished in God’s name. It is also a time to look ahead with hopes and dreams and to discern what God still has in store for us as we encounter Jesus His Son and share the gift of His love with others!
During these past few months, many of you have responded generously to thearchdiocesan capital campaign, “Called to Renew”! We have addressed the needs of the poorest among us in our local Church and have also raised much needed monies for our own projects. The planned plaza will provide a gathering space for social activities, coffee after Masses, and an area for outdoor classes and refreshment. New energy efficient heating and cooling units will be installed in the church!
Thanks to your kind and generous spirit throughout the year, we are able to accomplish much in fulfilling the mission and ministry of our Lord Jesus Christ! We should all take pride in the myriad of outreach ministry bearing witness to the Lord’s command that we feed the hungry, clothe the naked, comfort the sick and so on!
The bigger Church has not been without its struggles and difficulties these past months, but at the same time, we endeavor to remain faithful to Jesus in being the visible sign of His presence here in the Conejo Valley! I am confident that each of you will endeavor to continue the good work that God has begun! And as we forge ahead in time, we pray that to the best of our ability, we reflect God’s countenance for years to come.
