The New Caledonia Digital Strategic Plan
• A plan decided by the Government of New Caledonia (GNC)
• 2009: a minister is in charge of digital issues
• 2011: a « Digital Team » is created to offer a digital strategy
• An institutional work with the partners of the GNC
• Provincial Houses of Representatives, Congress, Mayors, communication provider (OPT),
Chamber of Industry,…
• A « high level » legitimacy
• The Plan has been voted by the Congress of New Caledonia in October 2013
• Digital Council in September 2015
