Planning Development of the SOW

The SOW is a written confirmation of the resultsthe project will produce and the terms andconditions under which the work will beperformed Project Overview: How and why the project came to be,

the business needs it addresses, the scope of work tobe performed, and how it will be affected by otherrelated activities

Deliverables: The specific features and functions that theproject will produce

Specifications: Detailed specifications of the hardwareand software that will be utilized in the field

Responsibilities: This defines the specific responsibilitiesand requirements of the Agency, the client, and partneragencies in delivering the project to completion

Work Breakdown Structure: A break down of the specifictasks, responsibilities, and required hours of the teammembers/positions assigned to the project

Schedule: An initial schedule including the projected startdate, milestones, and end date

Known Constraints: Restrictions that may limit what can beachieved and how fast it can be completed

Contact List: Contact information for all parties involvedin production, as well as approving the project during its

life cycle
