    Methods of instruction

Sessions combine lectures, screenings/ viewings, technical and critical readings, in-class work, discussions

    and critique of student work.

    Attendance policy

Regular attendance is expected. This includes lectures, individual consultations and class critiques.

Students are expected to be punctual and prepared for every class and stay for the class duration.

Chronic lateness will result in a grading penalty: 3 latenesses = 1 absence.

The final grade will be reduced by 1 grade (ex: B+ to B) for every absence beyond two absences.

    Critiques

For every scheduled group critique or presentation you must present your solution to the group in a state

of completion suitable for group discussion.

Only legitimate excuses will be accepted for not presenting work at the scheduled times, in which case you

should notify the instructor before the critique. Class participation accounts for 10% of your final grade.

    (See grades for details.)

    Explanation of grades

    Project 2= Technical %10 + Creative solution %10 + Crit/defence = %5 (Total %20)

    Project 3= Technical %12 + Creative solution %12 + Crit/defence = %6 (Total %30)

Participation + attendance = %5 (See attendance for details.)

    Changes to the syllabus
