DEFINITION OF CULTURE
E.B Taylor defines the culture as:
“The complex whole which includes knowlodge,beliefs,arts,morals,customs and any all other capabilities and habits acquired by man as members of
society”
CULTURE OF PAKISTAN
The society of Pakistan has many different cultures. Theeast of country is mainly Punjabi, the south is mainlySindhi in the east are the tribal cultures. In many areasthe tribes and cultures are mixed, most Pakistanis arePunjabi.
CULTURE OF INDIA
India is a very diverse country, and different religionshave their own distinct cultures. Language, religion, foodand the arts are just some of the various aspects ofIndian culture.

• In Pakistan after the death of anymuslim the body should be buriedas soon as possible from the time ofdeath according to Islamic law.
• To prepare the body for burial, itmust be washed (“Ghusl”) andcover it with Kafan.
India
• In India Hindus do not buried theirbodies they burn their bodies andafter burning their bodies they putthem in Ganga River.

• After the Ghusl and Kafan theSalat al-Janazah (funeral prayers)should be performed by allmembers of the community andthen body is buried in graveyard.
CONCLUSION
There are lot of differences between cultures of Pakistan andIndia. In spite of all these difference, there are some commoncustoms also. The main differences are religious beliefs whichdifferentiate the way of life of both nations.
