METHODOLOGY AND RESOURCES: First lessons where the Teacher tries to stablish a good emotional feedback with pupils, being very reassuring and giving them confidence (even though I don't speak their language they can speak in L1 and I respond in a very emphatic way) LEARNING ACTIVITIES: (to describe the activity concreting if it will be used as an initial, formative or final assessment) Introduction of the Teacher as only L2 speaker, pupils start getting used to listening to English ACTIVITIES OBSERVATIONS: Class response to activities: Good with songs, specially when they come from the CD and I can be intently observing them. Not so good when applying routines, so I let them keep the usual songs in Catalan and the same transition structure inside the classroom. PRACTICAL REFLECTION: Is the total immersion starting from scratch a good tool with pupils who have never listened to or studied English? See results. ASSESSMENT CHART (Items to be assessed): No assessment done in this Intro unit since first time they study English
