Dewans of Mysore Introduction : The rule of Maharaja Chamaraja Wodeyar X commenced in March 1881. The post of the commenced in March 1881. Mirja Ismail was suceeded by Dewan N.Madhav Rao. Jayachamaraja Wodeyarwas the last Maharaja of Mysore. Hewas the adopted son of KRW IV. Thelast Dewan of Mysore was ArcotRamaswamy Mudaliyar. The post ofDewan was abolished in 1949.
