After university I went travelling, in this time I have been keeping myself busy with various projects for friends. After returning I worked on a branding project for a construction company called S.G.Fraser.
Gatehouse Communications (Apr - May 2015)
Big Fish Design Ltd (June - July 2015)
2 weeks work experience working on various projects. Quick turnaround of work and experience of working with big clients such as GSK, CGI and HW Fisher.
I was offered an initial one week placement with Big Fish. After impressing in the first week with my positive attitude, I quickly intergrated myself into the team and was offered a month extension. I worked on various projects, helping other designers on products such as Tyrrells crisps, Yeo Valley yoghurts and Pooky lighting. It was a good insight into how the industry works and the kind of quick turnarounds that exist. It was sad to see my time there come to an end but am eager to move forward from this oppurtunity.
Worked as a design intern designing work for the university. Posters, flyers, banners, menus etc. This job helped me gain some experience, improve my design skills and develop my software capabilities. The turnaround of work was quick and helped me meet deadlines
