Life My Mind – The North Face Dr Jenny Tillotson
The invention was designed to work in a North Face rucksack to demonstrate computer-controlled scent delivery for sports endurance and relaxation. Exhibited at the VF Corp private world summit to showcase the latest global textile innovations, a replaceable cartridge system was designed to fit a small unit and customised in the front chest panel of a hydration rucksack.
1. wearable technology + fashion = jewellery, smart clothing
2. ‘miniaturisation’, MEMS, lab-on-a-chip biometric sensors, nanotechnology
3. smell communication, how this affects the brain, mood, feelings and senses
