POSSIBLE OUTCOMES AVAILABLE TO VICTIMS OF TRAFFICKING IN THE UK

Asilo o permiso de residencia en el Reino Unido: Cuando alguien obtiene la condición de “asilo” adquire el derecho para estar y vivir en el Reino Unido. Con una decisión positiva de “tráfico” también existe una posibilidad de permanecer en el Reino Unido con un “permiso de estancia”.

Asylum or leave to remain in the UK: once someone has ‘asylum’ status then there is a right to stay and live in the UK. With a positive ‘trafficking’ decision there is also a possibility to stay in the UK with ‘leave to remain’.

Remoción: Cuando alguien es devuelto a su país de origen ya que el asilo o permiso de es-tancia en el Reino Unido no le fue otorgado.

Removal: when someone is returned to their country of origin because they are not given asylum or leave to remain in the UK.
