Jan 12th A guardrail protecting a steam put on Faxon St was hit and destroyed by an unknown vehicle that fled the scene. An investigation located the vehicle and driver who was charged with Driving too Fast for Conditions and Driving w/o Insurance.

Jan 18th Vehicle parked in Lot # 5 (Ross Hall) had the back window completely cracked. He thought it was frosted over so he drove away. When he hit a bump, the back window glass fell out. It is not known how the window broke.

Jan 19th Victim had seat and front tire taken from his bike parked at Ross Hall. A suspect is scene on video but positive identification has not been made.

Jan 21st Victim had her bike stolen from CMO sometime in the last 10 months. No suspect info at this time.

Jan 22nd Person spotted at Ross/Hawkes looking at bikes and into car windows. Person was told to leave by Res Life Staff before calling Public Safety Public Safety made contact with the subject at CMO. He did not have any warrants and was released with a warning about his suspicious behavior.

Jan 28th 2 backpacks reported stolen from the Music Student Lounge in the basement of Holden Fine Arts. No cameras are in the basement and no suspect info has been obtained. Investigation is ongoing.

Jan 28th Hawkes Hall RA called to report the odor of marijuana. 4 males were located in the room and 1 male was cited for Underage Drinking, Possession of Marijuana, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

Jan 30th Hall Manager of Crownhart Hall called to report a non-venomous snake was located in the 2nd Floor Lounge. It is believed to be an unauthorized pet. The Hall Manager kept the snake and agreed to take it to the Humane Society in the morning.
