Item #2- Kingsbury ES Twelve Classroom Addition see below:

This Addendum contains the Bidding Documents dated May 6, 2019 for the project noted above. The following clarifications describe modifications made to previously published documents labeled as 95%. Changes and clarifications described in this addendum have been incorporated in the attached Bidding Documents. Receipt of this addendum shall be acknowledged by inserting its number and date in the space provided in the Bid Form. This Addendum consists of one (1) cover sheet, 3 pages and the listed attachments. CLARIFICATIONS/CHANGES TO PROJECT MANUAL PUBLISHED WITH DOCUMENTS IDENTIFIED AS 95%: 1. SECTION 00 01 15 LIST OF DRAWINGS: Drawing list is revised.

2. SECTION 00 11 00 SUPPLEMENTARY INSTRUCTIONS TO BIDDERS: This section is deleted. Refer to Invitation for Bids PART II, Section 11.0 – SUBMISSION DEADLINE for bid location.

3. SECTION 00 31 10 INFORMATION AVAILABLE TO BIDDERS: Article 1.3 has been added to include Appendix B – Property Survey.

4. SECTION 00 80 00 SUPPLEMENTARY CONDITIONS: Separate cost item for Building Engineer is deleted (incorporated in liquid damage amount).

5. SECTION 01 01 50 CONSTRUCTION SEQUENCE: Dates inserted in Paragraphs 1.2.A.1 and 2, respectively:

Substantial Completion: March 2, 2020 Final Completion: April 1, 2020

6. SECTION 01 05 50 FIELD ENGINEERING: The number three (3) is inserted as the quantity of final survey copies.

7. SECTION 01 10 00 SUMMARY OF WORK: Paragraphs 1.3 was revised to read as follows:

“A. Substantial Completion: Completed by March 2, 2020

B. Final Completion: Complete by April 1, 2020

C. Project Phasing: The building will be occupied during construction with the exception of school holidays. Refer to Drawings for areas included in each

8. SECTION 01 20 00 ALLOWANCES: Allowance No. 11 has been added to this section.

9. SECTION 07 28 00 WEATHER BARRIER: Paragraph 2.3.A.1, text that appeared in red and green

changed to black.

10. SECTION 07 53 23 EPDM MEMBRANE ROOFING: Paragraph 1.2C. has been deleted. Project does not contain alternate roofing system.

11. SECTION 07 53 23 EPDM MEMBRANE ROOFING: The acronym “SAT” has been deleted from Article entitled “EPDM Membrane Roofing System”. Roofing system is fully-adhered; not self-adhered.

12. SECTION 08 10 00 METAL DOORS AND FRAMES: In Paragraph 3.2.A, first line “Touch-p” is changed to “Touch-up”.

13. SECTION 12 48 13 ENTRANCE MATS: Paragraphs 2.2.B and 2.2.B.1 were revised to read as follows

The Prime Contractor hereby acknowledges, attests, certifies, warrants, and assures that:

(34) Contractor has received, read and understands the Bidding Documents and this bid is made in

accordance therewith.

(35) Contractor has visited the site and become familiar with the local conditions under which the work

is to be performed; and has correlated all observations with the requirements of the Bidding Documents.

(36) Documents identified as “Information Available to Bidders” are prepared solely for the Designer's

use in design of this Work and have not been relied upon in the preparation of this bid. The use and

interpretation of such information for any purpose is entirely the responsibility of the using party.

(37) Contractors and subcontractors that have been disqualified from participating in State Building

Commission projects have not been included in this bid and will not be allowed to perform work under the

contract that may result.

(38) Contractor shall not knowingly utilize the services of an illegal immigrant in the performance of this

Contract and shall not knowingly utilize the services of any subcontractor or consultant who will utilize the

services of an illegal immigrant in the performance of this Contract.

(39) Failure to complete this Bid Form, provide required attachments, or comply otherwise with

Instructions to Bidders, may be cause for rejection of bid.

Contractor to a Contract.
