Department of Physical Education & Sports The department of physical education has been established in 1986. It has been promoting sports culture in our college. It conducts various sports events such as ‘Annual Sports Week’ , celebration of ‘Sports Day’ on the Birth Anniversary of Late Major Dhyanchand. In addition to this, the gymkhana also grooms the students for participating in various university level zonal and inter-zonal sports events. Gymkhana provides all necessary facilities for outdoor as well as indoor games, yoga and health activities that creates interest in sports and games among our students. The department has also availed a well equipped gymnasium hall in indooer sports building for students, teachers and support staff. As a result, the department has produced many university state level players. Our students are given an opportunity to follow sports like Volleyball,Handball,Ballbadminton,badminton,Kabbadi, Kho-Kho, Shot-put, Discuss Throw, Javelin Throw, Hammer Throw, Long Jump‚ judo‚ boxing,TableTenis, etc.
