With great pleasure we would like to inform your good self that Selangor Taekwondo Association of Malaysia will be organizing the 6th CK- MALAYSIA CLASSIC INTERNATIONAL Taekwondo Championship 2011, on 15,16 & 17 July 2011 which will be held in Stadium Badminton Cheras, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

Malaysia is a multi racial country and you can say it is the paradise of Asia. Here everything blends together into a kaleidoscope of colors and sound to delight the human sense. We are a fast developing country with high technology. Visit us to see one of the tallest building in the world, the Twin Tower and as well as our world class International Airport.

We are taking this opportunity to invite your Taekwondo organization to participate in this prestigious event. By participation in this championship will give opportunity for your students to excel further in their skills and confidence. Super Juniors

Full contact knockout elimination tournament comprising of three (3) rounds of two (2) minutes each round and

1 minute rest for all events.

Two(2) rounds of Two(2) minutes with one minutes rest.

- No head kicking in this division (10-13 years old)

- A head kick intentional or accidental will be treated punching to the face and appropriate penalties will be executed that is Kyongo, Kamjum or disqualification.

6.

ENTRIES

Individuals through their respective clubs / affiliates.

Age 10 – 13 Years – super junior

14 – 17 Years - Junior

18 years and above - Senior

7.

AWARD PRESENTATIONS

Prizes will be awarded in every weight division for the first

1st, 2nd, and 2 x 3rd placing.

TEAM

A Country or club can register any number of players in order that more players can participate in the same weight categories.

9.

ACCOMODATION

We will provide 4 nights free Accommodation only.

PARTICIPATION FEES

US$ 200.00 per participant (all Categories)

ADDITIONAL US$ 20.00 if the juniors want to compete in senior Category.

13.

INDEMNITIES

It shall be the responsibility of the participants from the respective affiliates to have already validly completed the participation forms and have them signed indemnifying the Organizing Committee, its officials and other contestants from any claims of injuries, losses, fatal or otherwise arising in the course of participation in this championship or any other activities therefore.

All participants below the age of 18 should be approved and signed by parents/guardians.

It shall be the responsibility of the respective affiliates to ensure that participants and officials are covered with effective insurance coverage.

14.

SPARRING EQUIPMENT

(i)The organizer will not provide equipment.

(ii)Mouth guard is recommended.

(iii) Soft protective guards for the forearms and shins are compulsory.

17.
