Chemistry Goals : DEPARTMENT OF CHEMISTRY Department of chemistry has formulated three basic goals to impart the subject knowledge to undergraduate degree programs: : To enrich the students with fundamentals of chemistry and allied subjects via classroom (theory) to laboratory (experimentation). : Field visit to observe live processes : Visit to scientific institute to motivate the students for higher education and research. Knowledge outcome: After completing B.Sc. Chemistry degree students will be able to: PO1: Transfer and apply the acquired basic knowledge of chemistry, including concepts and principles of A)Organic, Inorganic, Physical, and Analytical Chemistry; (B) Analytical techniques and experimental methods to study different branches of chemistry; PO2: Demonstrate the ability to explain the importance of the Periodic Table of the Elements and its key aspects in organizing chemical information. PO3: Apply and demonstrate knowledge of essential facts, concepts, laws, principles and theories related to chemistry; PO4: Demonstrate the learned laboratory skills, enabling them to perform qualitative and quantitative analysis of given samples and able to make conclusions on it; PO5: Set procedure and synthesize simple compounds of commercial importance; PO6: Engage in oral and written scientific communication, and will prove that they can think critically and work independently. DEPARTMENT OF CHEMISTRY

Department of chemistry has formulated three basic goals to impart the subject

CO2: Understand the concept of Chiral templets and Chiron approach.

field by knowing some concepts from medicinal chemistry.
