ALUMNI SERIES DETAILS
The Department of Biomedical Engineering and Department of Electronics and
Communication Engineering in association with AVIT alumni association conducted a
alumni talk to our students on the topic “AN EXPERIENCE OF A BIOMEDICAL
ENGINEER ” on 21.04.2021.
At the outset , Dr.L.K.Hema, Professor and Head , Department of ECE/BME, delivered
the welcome address , followed by the speaker introduction by Ms.Sandhiya , Assistant
Professor, BME and coordinated by Ms.Lakshmi Shree B , Assistant Professor , BME.
Later , The Alumni speaker Mr.Dibas Deka, Product Specialist , Stasis Labs with lot
of insights about Biomedical devices and Artificial intelligence delivered the current
trends in biomedical field in relation with Artificial Intelligence . He skills in medical
devices troubleshooting and installation was very informative and was shared to our
budding engineers .
This Alumni lecture also involved a interactive session in which , the students asked
doubts regarding their career , various biomedical opportunities available and
internships that they can undergo for the benefit of their future . As a Alumni he also
shared his wonderful memories in our college and it was a memorable and informative
session.
