When you see “DO” on the label you will also have special instructions associated to the parcel, which all drivers must follow in the event a delivery is not possible. Important to note:-

If a customer responds to an interactive SMS message, this will always supersede the delivery options (DO).

Delivery Options (DO)

What are the Delivery Options?

•Items where the special instruction is “No to Neighbour” the parcel must not be taken to a neighbour if the recipient is not at home. The only exception is when a recipient responds to an interactive SMS message saying yes to neighbour. •“No to Post Office branch” appears on the label as a crossed through “POL”. Items should not be taken to Post Office branches in this instance.

•The “Address Only” special instruction, which effectively means no to neighbour and POL, appears on the label as “ADDR Only”. These items should only be attempted at the delivery address and returned to the depot if no one is at home to accept the item.

•No Signature Required (NSR), Safe Place (e.g. shed, greenhouse, garage etc.)
