Rationale:

Currently, West Virginia ranks 46th in the nation in AP student achievement, with just 9.4% of West Virginia students earning a score of 3+ on an AP Exam before leaving high school.

+The Goals:

- Increase AP participation to at least 45% of the 2018 graduating cohort class

- Increase AP performance to 25% of the 2018 graduating cohort class

- Close participation and performance gaps for African-American students by 2018
