That’s why we’re replacing older, inefficient power plants with new ones like the FPL Port Everglades Next Generation Clean Energy Center. It’s under construction now and will begin powering homes and businesses across Florida next year using cleaner, low-cost American natural gas. By making smart investments and driving down the amount of fuel we use to generate electricity, we’re cutting carbon emissions and producing savings for you. Today, our typical business bills are lower than the national average, and in 2016, we’re planning to reduce rates again.
