Value PropositionProduct & Installation
Optimize the floating production system cost through:
Reduced costs of new build FPSOs
Disconnectable turret optimization
Lower payloads on existing hubs allowing for more
production within tension capacity limits
Extended service life for dynamic applications
Expand the operating envelope of existing technologies
(FPSO, TLP, SPAR, semi-submersibles)
Expand the availability of installation vessels with the
required top tension capability
Field architecture flexibility
-
Value Proposition
More cost-efficient development of deepwater
reserves
Optimize the floating production system cost
Lowers installation costs and project schedule risk
Resistance to corrosive environments

TechnologyEngineering & Qualification - Design Criteria
Products are designed to comply with offshore oil and gas industry standards for unbonded flexible pipe and use of composites
API 17J Applies to polymer layers, carcass, steel pressure armor, functional tapes, end fitting structural components, pipe response to global loads
DNV OS-C501 Applies to composite armor and anti-extrusion layers and composite armor anchoring in end fitting
API 17B DeepFlex led the development of a major revision to include composite armored flexible pipe design, manufacture and qualification (Annex H) which has been adopted by the API 17 Flexible Pipe Task Group and will be published in the 2014 API Revision
