Major Findings• The HR department is successfully finding right personnel for right designation

and providing every possible training and support to get best out of him.• The Finance department is scrutinizing the client’s financial status thoroughly, to

ensure that the time and resource spent upon, doesn’t go in vain.• The marketing department has been formulating effective marketing strategy

• M/s TMSPnPL, in spite of substantial increase in turnover has shown deficit due to increase in depreciation and legal expenses. So, it is expected to perform reasonable well in future.

• M/s LPPL has incurred loss in spite of increase in turn over due to unexpected and undue movement in the raw material and components cost and increase in manpower cost and financial cost. So, through effective material and man power management, the performance can be improved.

• M/s Sanjay & Co has been severely affected in sales and profit due to recession. It is expected to do well along with improvement in economic status of market.

• M/s TAURUS has performed well in current financial year compared to previous financial year. The financial statement analysis shows that the financial elements are, comparatively, within benchmark.

Major Suggestions

• The pay scale could be more attractive in order to attract the best talent available in market.

• Incentives other that salary could be introduced in order to motivate consistently productive people.

• Encouraging creativity at workplace to make job more interesting to employees. This is hardly done in public sector.

My Learning The financial ratios can’t be only tool in financial

decision making. The finance manager has to consider possible and

uncontrollable factors while interpret. A reduction in sales can be due to economic

fluctuation, so, the performance of the organization can’t be degraded.

Under extreme circumstances, partially unsound financial statement can be compromised with.

Inflation can be a factor because of which profit may come down. It has to be evaluated if the company has potential to lift itself, and decision can be taken there upon.
