Kori Raishon is the owner and conceptualist of Double EE Productions, LLC, a video distribution and marketing company dedicated to offering a webcast space for independent producers of color in film and television. After receiving a degree in Architecture from New York Institute of Technology, Raishon worked for 16 years as an architect with the New York State Department of Parks and Recreation renovating historical buildings, designing toll booths and tile patterns for park facilities and overseeing new park facility projects. It was his knack for seeing the whole picture that later catapulted him into a far more creative career. As a multi-talented visionary and creative, he began working

across the board in a variety of art and entertainment industries: graphic design, photography, writing, production management, and videography. Raishon quickly became sought after by diverse start-up companies and independent business owners across the country because of an innate ability to move his clients from razor-sharp concepts to clear-cut execution. Consulting for clients like R&B music band Tri-Max, vegan restaurateur Brenda Beener, motivational speaker Veronica Conway and the Paulo Freire Charter School, he develops strategic marketing solutions and creative initiatives to meet their demands. He has produced live performances like the Power of Women in the Arts in New York City and Men of Creation at the National Black Theater in Harlem, New York. Noted for his masterful work in photography, Raishon boasts a critical eye behind the lens of a camera. In 2001, he launched D’EE’P Hues, an online magazine highlighting striking images and untold stories of independent artists in the New York tri-state area. Seamlessly transitioning to the medium of video, it was in 2005 that Raishon produced his first talk show, D’EE’P Talk. He continued to use his keen visual-spatial awareness to produce videography for his own online distribution, advertisements, promotional trailers, episodes and behind-the-scenes documentaries. He produced his first dramedy series, Kindred, also in 2005. His TV credits include D’EE’P Hues (2006), Lifestyles with Sigrid (2009), DPVN Entertainment (2010 – 2011) and D’EE’P In the Streets (2012). In 2010, he conceptualized and executed another division of his company, Full 5 Media Group. DPVN and Full 5 Media Group are equal, complementary divisions of Double EE Productions, LLC. In 2011, DPVN made history by contracting all Black women-owned media entities who work in concert to create viable advertising and marketing opportunities for businesses.
