Frutta Bowls, a health-focusedrestaurant concept known fordishing up its fruit - and veggie-based bowls and smoothies, iscoming to town. On Thursday,December 6 @ 8 am the chain willopen its doors to the public inAust in Landing. Grand openingcelebrat ion is planned for Saturday,December 8 with act ivit ies for thecommunity, giveaways and a liveband, planned from, noon-3pm.

Launched in New Jersey in 2016,

Frutta Bowls prepares healthy bowlswith a base of acai, pitaya or kale.The chain also offers oatmeal bowlsand smoothies, as well as proteinballs, kombucha tea, and grab-and-go items. Seasonal items areintroduced throughout the year.

Each Frutta Bowls franchise st rivesto get to know the surroundingcommunity on a deeper level,creat ing relat ionships and focusingon giving back. It is the restaurant’sgoal to not only be in a community,but to be part of the community.That shouldn’t be a challenge forMayo-Mitchell. She grew up in theMiami Valley and recent lyrelocated back to the area toopen Frutta Bowls. Mayo-Mitchell isa graduate of Trotwood-MadisonHigh School and was previouslystat ioned at Wright Patterson AirForce Base.

Vincent DePaul through our annual charity event,Make a Meal Make a Difference. Since we started, we have packed over1100 full meals and donated over 750 new books to the shelter as presentsfor the children to open on Christmas. Last year alone we were able tomake 360 meals and donate 250 books.

The reason that this event has been such a big success each and everyyear is from the outstanding support we receive from the employees andcompanies right here inside the Aust in Landing Development. To make our7th Annual Make a Meal Make a Difference even better this year, we havemade a few small changes to the event.

T he need is great er, so we are making more meals!T he need is great er, so we are making more meals! We will bepacking 450+ meals for the homeless at the St . Vincent De Paul HomelessShelter and other local charit ies.
