ST. PETER’S PARISH MISSION STATEMENT

We the people of St. Peter's Catholic Parish and St. Rose of Lima Mission, strive to serve as missionary disciples of Jesus Christ through prayer, the proclamation of the Gos-pel, evangelization, and lifelong spiritual growth through Christian formation.

DECEMBER 22nd: St. Peters—no Religious Ed for K-6 or Confirmation I & II. Classes resume January 5th. Queen of All Saints—no Religious Ed—but there will be dress rehearsal. DECEMBER 24th & 25th: Special collection– Christmas Offering DECEMBER 28th & 29th: Special collection and visiting Priest—Food for the Poor DECEMBER 26th to JANUARY 9th: Fr. Andres will be on vacation—all weekly Ser-vices will be Communion Services. No Adora-tion on January 2nd at St. Peters. DECEMBER 29th: Queen of All Saints—no Religious Ed. Classes will resume January 12th.

"When I pull a blade of grass, the whole uni-verse shakes”, that saying expresses our

interconnectedness with all others.

Christian community service is a nonprofit inter-denominational, organization that will use dona-tions to make a difference in the lives of some of your neighbors. We serve in Christ's name; we seek to fulfill the great commandment to love our neighbor as ourselves (Matthew 22:36-40).

CCS was founded for the purpose of providing temporary help to anyone in the Lake City area who has basic and urgent needs such as food, clothing, gasoline, rent assistance, transporta-tion to the doctor and/or medical needs; as these needs often "fall through the cracks" of other aid provided in our community.

Christmas baskets with homemade cookies and Lake City grocery store certificates will go out to 17 families or individuals on December 19th.

Christian community service has given expen-sive medical and rental help to more folks than usual this year and the CCS bank account is running very low.
