Walk-In Wednesday Potluck Supper

Wednesday Nights | 6:00 p.m. Join us on Wednesday evenings for a potluck meal. Bring a side dish to share and spend some time laugh-ing with and getting to know the wonderful people in our community. The supper ends with a brief service from Daily Prayer for All Seasons.

Monastic Night Wednesdays, October 30 | 7:00 p.m. Is sainthood only for “official” saints? In such a noisy world, is it possible to make a quiet space for Christ’s love and presence within us? As All Saints’ Day draws near, you’re invited to join us for the last night of this series to sing, learn, listen for God’s voice in the silence, and share Communion. Terry Petit will present on Brennan Manning and the radical love of God.

Centering Prayer Saturday mornings | 8:30 a.m. Join us on Saturday mornings at 8:30 a.m. for Center-ing Prayer. We begin with instruction on this simple method of silent prayer. All who seek God’s presence are welcome—no preparation or consistent attendance are required.

Celebrating God’s Love for All Seeking to Embody Christ in the World

Revive Center for Healing and Hope Christmas Baskets & Coat Drive

We are thrilled at the response from our generous parishioners! We have distributed 25 of 33 food cards, and 37 of 68 gift cards already. Please pick up a card this morning in the entrance after the 8:00 a.m. and 10 a.m. services. If you are unable to pick up a card, please call Cleo at 847.828.8957 and we can connect you with someone. Thanks all! The presents and gift cards will be collected on December 1. Thanks for your continuing generosity for these yearly donations to those in need during the season of Christ’s birth.

In addition, we will hold a coat drive in support of the Revive Center for Healing and Hope starting on Sun-day, November 3, and ending on Sunday, December 8. Along with the coats, hats and gloves would be quite welcome.

Transition of Treasurers We are thankful for the many years that Ben Witt has served as our parish treasurer and are grateful for Bob Lindquist who has stepped up to fill that role. Pat Engbrecht is continuing as assistant treasurer.
