Laughter Is the Best Medicine…

Late one night a burglar broke into a house and while he

was sneaking around he heard a voice say, "Jesus is

watching you."

He looked around and saw nothing. He kept on creeping

and again heard, "Jesus is watching you."

In a dark corner, he saw a cage with a parrot inside. The

burglar asked the parrot, "Was it you who said Jesus is

watching me"

The parrot replied, "Yes."

Relieved, the burglar asked, "What is your name?"

The parrot said, "Clarence."

The burglar said, "That's a stupid name for a parrot.

What idiot named you Clarence?"

The parrot answered, "The same idiot that named the

Rottweiler Jesus."

Great-great-great Grandma

Kristina Aubichon Grandma

The family of Marie Adele Laliberte would like to thank all those

who attended her 93rd birthday celebration on Sunday, November

23rd, 2014. It was an honor to see you there. You helped make her

day extra special. Many thanks!

Who never eats at Christmas time? The Turkey! It’s usually stuffed!

What did the snowman and his wife hang over their baby’s crib? A snow mobile

What king is the children’s favorite at Christmas time? A Stocking!

What happened to the man who stole a calendar at Christmas? He got 12 months.

What is a mom’s favorite Christmas Carol? Silent Night

What do you have in December that you don’t have in any other month? The letter D (bet you went through all the months in your head!)

It was Christmas and the judge was in a merry mood as he asked the prisoner,"What are you charged with?" "Doing my Christmas shopping early", replied the defendant. "That's no offence", said the judge. " It is if you do it before the shop opened", countered the prisoner.

Never catch snowflakes on your tongue until all the birds have gone south for the winter!

Avery McKay

Eight, out of the 16 youth who applied, attended a

workshop in Prince Albert on November 14, 15 & 16.

From the workshop, 5 were chosen to represent Beauval

at the Northern Spirits showcase that is held during the

Voices of the North showcase in February. The youth are:

Mackenzie Fraser - performer

Gina Roy - performer

Jazmyn Durocher - performer

Hilliard Roy - stagehand

Wayanna Opekokew-Laliberte - set design

Congratulations to all 16 youth for stepping up and

applying. Beauval was very well represented at the

workshop as we have very respectful youth. I know it was

a very tough job to choose a cast of 25 from the many

talented youth of the North.

We hope many of you can join us in February at the

Voices of the North showcase in Prince Albert. This is

when our youth have their time to shine! And nothing

brings a bigger shine then knowing your family is out in

the audience cheering you on!

Thank you to all who have supported our fundraising

efforts so far: the parents, Beauval General Store, MDeez,

CIPI, the Northern, Beauval Recreation, Northern Village

of Beauval and the community members.

Youthfully yours,

Nick Daigneault

Alvina Aubichon

My name is Wayanna Opekokew-

Laliberte from Beauval Saskatchewan

and I am in Grade 11.

I always wanted to attend the Northern

Spirits Workshop so I signed up and

got selected. I had a great weekend at

the Northern Spirits workshop in

Prince Albert. Thanks to the

chaperones for making this weekend

amazing. Meeting new people and

seeing old friends was awesome! I was

brave enough to sing in front of a lot

of people and I always wanted to

follow my brother Tyrone’s footsteps.

I got selected for set design for the

showcase in February.

Thank You to Alvina Aubichon,

Nick Daigneault and Sheryl

Kimbley who take the time out of

their busy schedules to see to the needs

and dreams of our Youth. It was an

awesome experience to see the youth

come together, show support and

encourage each other on every step of

this exciting journey. Thank you to

these individuals who are there for the

youth of our community. You are

doing an awesome job! Keep it up!
