November 25: Trinity Nursing Home Service at Glen Haven Reserve Saturday, December 1 st 1-3pm for the Trinity Hosts Café. Great coffee, muffins and conversation for $5 per person. There will be sewing projects and kitchen goodies for sale also. Speaking of kitchen goodies, we ask you to consider making a couple of items for the food table. Donations of breads, sweets, jams, candy, soups, meat pies, quiche, casseroles are all well received. Please deliver your contributions to the MacLean Street entrance on Friday, November 30. They’re back! Evergreen wreaths will be sold again this year. 50 wreaths will be provided for purchase on a first come, first served basis. They will be available at the Trinity Hosts Café on December 1 for the price of $20.00. Thanks to all who provided pyjamas for our newcomer Syrian children. Your generous donations have all been distributed, and the kids are warm and cozy in their beds. Saturday, November 24th at 7pm Ann Holton will have her CD Release Concert – “A Merry Little Christmas” at Sharon St. John United Church in Stellarton. Special guests will include Ardyth & Jennifer, Darren McMullen, Heather Cameron, Jeff Torbert and Karen Crowley. Tickets are $20 for adults/$10 for students and are available at the church (902-752-4943), at www.annholton.com and at the door. Sunday, November 25 at 7:00 pm Christmas Carols, St. Andrew's Presbyterian, 105 Coleraine St., Pictou. This will be an evening of Scripture and music provided by all 5 Pictou Town Churches. The combined choirs will sing together for the finale. A reception will follow in the church hall. All are welcome. A free will offering will be accepted for the Pictou Co. Fuel Fund.
