Thank you to Mrs. McGaha for coordinating Santa Shop and all of the volunteers! Thank you to Mrs. Laker and Mrs. Gosser for all of your work with SCRIPS! Thank you for Mrs. Coffman for making Spiritwear available to us! We would like to thank Mr. & Mrs. Hollcraft whose recent donation sponsored our STEM Family Night! Thank you to Mrs. Woodruff has temporarily stepped in to Mrs. Collins classroom in her absence. We are grateful to Mrs. Hammerschmidt for coordinating STEM Family Night. Thank you to Mr. and Mrs. Mike Taylor for making our robotics program possible this year! Thank you to Mrs. McCalip for your work with our Day of Service. Thank you to Mrs. Azar for helping create allergy awareness signs. Thank you to Mrs. Duhamell for coordinating all of our room parents.
In September Mrs. Kuflewski applied for a grant through McDonald's for up to $500 to aid toward STEM
related activities and lessons in the classroom, and she got it! The grant money she received will go toward
purchasing supplies for the Duct Tape Sculpture project that the students create in 7th and 8th grade. Each
project is required to have an element of technology, either light, sound, or audio enhanced, and the money
from the grant will be used to purchase circuits, batteries, bulbs, motors, recorders, speakers, and Duct Tape.
This grant money will allow for the students to push the limits of the assignment beyond what years past
projects have been able to accomplish!

Don’t forget to get your 2017 contributions in!
First, thank you for your support in 2017! But to make sure that your contribu-
tions are in your tax statement for 2017, please drop your contributions in the
collection basket, mail or drop it by the office by Dec. 31st. Mark your contribu-
tion check, etc. with a Dec. 2017 date. Also, remember our offices are closed
between Christmas and New Year’s. If special arrangements are needed, please
contact the Business Office before Christmas. Thank you again!
Volunteer Help Wanted
Painting Work Day on January 6th, 2018
On Saturday, January 6, 2018 from 7 AM to 10 AM, we are going to be
doing some painting in the school and church. Only have an hour to
work. No problem. Please come. No experience is required. Just
bring your paintbrushes and rollers. (Roller pads will be provided.)
Coffee and donuts will also be provided. Please meet in the cafeteria.

St. Nicholas Stocking
As St. Nicholas shared with others, this month the students will share with others too. St. Barnabas students will help the poor by filling the red stockings they received from St. Nick with personal hygiene items, socks, hat, and gloves. These will be given to St. Vincent de Paul and Holy Family Shelter. The following items are needed:

Bath Soap Shampoo/Conditioner Kleenex
Toothpaste/Toothbrush Lotion Dish Soap
Razors, Shaving Cream Brushes Laundry Detergent
Deodorant Toilet Paper Paper Towels
Please do not send any mouthwash, hotel/motel, sample size, or opened items. Please fill the stocking with the items listed above and return it to school. Send in as much as you would like, it doesn’t have to just fit in the stocking!

Roncalli Wrestling, CYO Winter Break Clinic, December 26th & 27th

Rebel Wrestling Foundation is hosting it’s 2nd Annual CYO Winter Break Wrestling Clinic at Roncalli High School Wrestling Facility. RHS Head Coach Wade McClurg, the RHS wrestling staff, and RHS wrestling team, will be teaching the wrestling techniques that are taught in the RHS workouts. These are the skills that will build Roncalli Wrestling champions. The cost is $20, cash or check to Roncalli Wrestling Foundation.
