You tell me Since I have a history with attendance that I can’t go out of my way to make it to school on time everyday You tell me That when I go back to my main stream school I'm just going to drop out I would like to tell you That I am going to graduate from high school. So during our next encounter When you tell me that I’m not good enough for college I will not listen I will work harder in school so I can prove you wrong. And that’s a promise.
Dear Boyfriend, I would like to tell you Thank you for being there for me. You tell me I’m gorgeous. You tell me I can complete high school. You tell me I can show you off by graduating. I would like to tell you Thank you for a lot. So during our next encounter, When you see me up on stage, in my cape and gown, I will be smiling, and looking down right at you. I will be telling you, not my mom, thank you for caring. And that’s a promise.

Dear Brandon I would like to tell you That every negative thing you have said to me in the past has really irritated me. Dear Life I would like to tell you No matter what you throw at me it’s still not going to kill me inside or out. I might fall but I know I’ll break the walls that keep me from moving on just to reach a better side.
