Dear CTO enthusiast, dear friend,

We are excited to announce the second Swiss CTO Summit held in St. Gallen, Switzerland on September 23 & 24, 2021.

Interest in complex PCI and total occlusion procedures are increasing all over the world with numerous expert meetings and courses. The Swiss CTO Summit will not be just another course, we have a diff erent meeting in mind!

This two-day course will be held in a very interactive and familiar ambiance. The spectrum will cover all topics from reviewing the basics, learning tips & tricks to mastering complex techniques. State of the art lectures, live in a box case presentations and live cases from all over the world will cover all hot topics of CTO and complex high-risk and indicated PCI (CHIP). Live cases will be performed by renowned national and international experienced operators. We are convinced that sharing the broad experience and knowledge of our national and international faculty with the audience will make this course memorable.

Andreas Grüntzig’s dream: We will literally trace the career of Andreas Grüntzig, beginning in Germany, with the innovative stopover in Switzerland to the worldwide success of angioplasty in Atlanta at the famous Emory Clinic. Integrating the Emory Practical Intervention Course (EPIC) into our summit will fi nally highlight Andrea’s legacy and commitment to education. This heritage is the base of our educational spirit.

The interactive and very educational course includes:

• 8 Live Cases transmitted from around the world• International and national faculty• State of the art presentations covering all the topics of CTO-PCI and CHIP• Structured discussions of recorded cases• Fellows and hands-on workshops

Last but not least we want to thank the industry for their valuable contribution for developing all the material that made interventional cardiology successful and their ongoing support of our educational endeavour. Without them the Swiss CTO Summit would not be possible.

Every fi rst Thursday of the month18:00 - 19:00 CET

Complex interventional procedures demand extensive experience and skills of the operators and a plethora of materials and techniques. The possibilities and indications have increased over the last decades since the invention of coronary angioplasty by Andreas Grünzig in 1977. Interactive learning is important to educate young interventional cardiologists and technicians in the cathetirization laboratories around the world. Case based studies combine practice and theory and provide an ideal ground for questions and lively discussions.

Every fi rst Thursday of each month we are presenting interventional cases and open them for discussion. The audience is invited to discuss the case and add value to this interactive course.
