Dear Students:

This booklet was put together to help you make decisions about becoming involved in our school activities. The activities described here have been created by, with and for students. We have to thank the students who came before you and the teachers for putting together a rather impressive list of co-curricular activities. The reason they are called that, co-curricular activities, is that they are designed to go along with our regular school program. We know there are many different ways to learn and a ton of things out there that interest us. This is yet another way for you to be connected to your own leaning, our school and community. Finding something that interest you is just one part of the challenge. The other part of the challenge is making a commitment to a group and sticking with it. You might find that reading this booklet raises some additional questions about an activity. If so, please speak to someone – the advisor, your guidance counselor or another adult who can point you in the right direction. I hope that you will become involved in our activities in a meaningful way. Have a great year, or not…the choice is yours!
