Digital Developments in Hospitality explores the impact of apps, tools and platforms, already adopted in the marketplace, and the impact on users’ service expectations. We take a close look at various services that are already widely used and examine how it changes the perception of ‘excellent service’ by the travelling public. The next step… what do hoteliers need to provide to satisfy the hyper-connected guest. Further, in collaboration with our academic partner EMC Paris, we examine what tools and information is essential for today’s Hospitality students to assure success as hoteliers in the hyper-connected marketplace.
