Do I have to collect SSNs?NO YES

The DCS will still collect outcome data without SSNs.

Your students will still be included in the outcome counts (number enrolled, number completing, etc.)

To add a student to the DCS, and subsequently to an Outcome, a required field is SSN [or CCCID: California Community College Identification Number].

BUT

Page 11: DCS FAQ

Do I have to collect EINs?NO, EIN is not a required field in the DCS.

(That is, you will still be able to enter business information without an EIN.)

We recommend you obtain the EIN to improve our accountability and reporting.
