Welcome to the Dorset County Football Association Limited

There has never been a better time to sponsor the Dorset County Football Association. Founded in 1987 the association has gone through many changes over the years, to now provide an organisation dedicated to the promotion of grassroots football and beyond.

The Dorset Football Association is committed to ensuring the future development of football within Dorset. With over 800 teams competing in a variety of leagues, cup competitions and tournaments across Dorset than ever before, and with the development of officiating and volunteering pathways there are plenty of chances for perspective partners to engage with the local community and maximise exposure.

A variety of sponsorship packages have been composed to suit all levels of business. By investing in Dorset Football we can also help you engage prospective customers by utilising our own social media which currently has nearly 5000 Twitter followers and over 400,000 web site page visits per year, the potential to make a positive impact to increase your customer base.

Senior Cup

County Ground Main Sponsor

A fantastic opportunity to become the main sponsor of the County Ground. The County Ground is currently undergoing development of a new 3G to replace the existing grass pitch. The Dorset FA sub lease the ground to Hamworthy FC.

County Ground Main Sponsor

The County Ground is currently undergoing major redevelopment to turn the existing grass pitch into a state of the art 3G stadia complex. With the facility due to be completed by the start of the 2016-17 season, this is an exciting time for the ground and for the wider community.

With the opening of the new facility will come opportunities for community and club engagement, with the County FA providing on site opportunities for coaches, referees, officials and players to take part in development programmes. The Dorset FA also sub lease the pitch to Hamworthy United FC who play in the Sydenhams Football League (Wessex).

Each year the Dorset Youth County Cup Finals take place at the King George V playing fields in Ferndown. There are 7 finals in total with ages ranging from Under 10 through to Under 16 years. Held in July each year the tournament consists of 48 mini teams competing over a full day.

Held in June each year on the beaches of Canford Cliffs, Poole and offers opportunities for men’s and ladies teams to compete.

Beach Soccer Cup

7 South West County Girls ACC Squads come together to compete in a one day development festival across U12, U14 and U16 age groups.

The culmination of the Ability Counts League – a festival for adults and U16’s representing their local Ability Counts Clubs.

A recreational adult festival for men and women – 16 teams competing in a fun and friendly end of season tournament.

Bespoke Advertising Packages

Dorset FA can offer your organisation the opportunity to advertise through our various publications. This includes advertising through our monthly E-Zine, 3 Castles Magazine, County Handbooks, Coaches Companion or on the County Website. Each publication reaches a wide demographic and provides an opportunity to promote your activities to specific target markets.

Dorset FA E-Zine The Dorset E-Zine consists of 5 issues per year and is produced every 2 months. This tri-monthly publication is sent to and read by over 1,000 recipients and is also accessible through our county website. Each issue provides the reader with all the news from around the County regarding participation, refereeing, volunteering, competition, coaching and lots more.

3 Castles News Our full colour glossy magazine is produced at the end of the year and provides a complete review of the season. Each edition sees 2,000 copies printed and distributed to all Dorset clubs , leisure centres, educational establishments, coaches, officials , volunteers etc.

Coaches Companion The Coaches Companion is an E- document sent to all coaches who sign up for a coaching or CPD course. Currently the Coaches Companion is distributed to over 700 recipients per year and is ideal for those business that would like to target a particular audience. County Handbooks The official Dorset Football Association Handbook, the Dorset FA Mini-Soccer League Handbook and the Dorset FA Girls and Women’s League Handbook are produced every year and are distributed electronically to over 1,000 recipients across Dorset. Advertising prices range from £35 to £150. Please call to discuss your requirements. County Website Our website pages are visited over 400,000 times a year, we can offer you the opportunity to place your company logo (with link) onto a page dedicated to local businesses and our commercial partners. This opportunity is offered to you at a cost of £150 per year. Bespoke Packages Flexible advertising packages are available for your business to place as many adverts in as many DCFA publications as you like; including cup final programmes, E-magazines and handbooks. In addition to the above bespoke packages the Dorset County Football Association would also welcome contact from businesses that would like to offer sponsorship towards the County Representative Teams , Dorset County Youth Council or the Dorset Referees Development Group and Academies.

County Representative Teams

The Dorset County Football Association currently run Representative Teams at

two levels: Women and Under 16 Youth. Dorset enters both teams in the S&W

Counties Championship Competition, which not only covers South West England,

but also South Wales and beyond.

Dorset County Youth Council

The Dorset County Youth Council acts as the voice of young people and gives a

platform to all aspiring young volunteers to develop grassroots football. The

Youth Council is run by young people for young people; with a specific focus on

supporting the Football Futures programme the members are offered the

opportunity to make a difference in Dorset football.

Dorset Referees Development Group and Academies.

The Dorset Referees Development Group and Academies offers expert coaching

to those officials who have demonstrated a clear intention to progress through

the Referee pathway to reach the higher levels in the game. All officials are

expected to take part in training events in order to improve their performance,

and therefore raise the standards on the DP League and Dorset League.
