In adverse conditions, the standard ESC with

electronic Brake Assist works with an advanced

All-Speed Traction Control system to help the

driver maintain vehicle directional stability

and limit oversteering or understeering.

Active front head restraints automatically move

forward and upward in the event of a rear-end

collision to decrease the space between the

head restraint and the occupant’s head, helping

provide added neck protection for both the driver

and front passenger. Standard.

ELECTRONIC STABILITY CONTROL (ESC)9

In the event of a collision, side-curtain air bags

and front seat-mounted side air bags deploy,

blanketing outboard positions in all three rows of

seating. A driver’s knee blocker air bag helps

position the driver in relation to the front air bag.

This standard system utilizes intelligent software

connected to the brake pedal and system. It can

sense the rate of pressure on the brake pedal, and

when it senses an emergency stop, it instantly

applies the greatest possible pressure to the brakes,

stopping the vehicle in the shortest time possible.

Dual radar sensors constantly monitor driver

blind spots, providing notification of an
