What went well?

Page 3: Day 1 evidence

The first thing that went well was the choice of locations, we found some beautiful locations that went really well with our artist, the neutral, autumn coloured backgrounds along with the array of sunshine made perfect lighting. Secondly, we were very productive, due to our limitations without a car, we travelled to lots of locations and captured beautiful pictures for photo shoots and our social media accounts. We scouted out locations like the electrical tower, there were some abandoned buildings by it but unfortunately we couldn't get in and we would have been prosecuted if we did.Lastly we played around with some shots that we developed on our storyboard, for example we practised the close up onto the shoes. Our idea is to get different locations at the start and film close ups onto the feet.

What went wrong? When we came back to edit the footage, we realised that the outfit that Aaron, the artist was wearing doesn’t match the genre of EDEN, the artist that we are matching. Miss agreed with us that we couldn't use this footage because we would lose marks on mise en scene. This means that everything that we filmed we have to re film again. This is annoying but it cannot be helped, we have to expect that sometimes our footage will not be good and we have to re-film sometimes. At least in hindsight we know what outfits we should wear.
